            Image 1 Maker Remarks: A friend and I made special trip to observe 
            and photograph these rafts and moved downstream following the 
            release of water from a dam in the area.  Altogether, there were 
            several dozen rafts and kayaks that came floating by.  This image 
            was originally captured on film (Sensia 100) and subsequently 
            scanned. Some cropping was performed followed by a small amount of 
            color enhancement and sharpening.

            Image 2 Maker Remarks: Old Sturbridge Village is a year-round 
            activity that presents life and events as they were in earlier 
            timss.  On ocassion, such as this one, visitors are invited to 
            participate in the demonstration of certain activities.  This young 
            girl was one of the first volunteers.  Some cropping was performed, 
            along with some slight amount of color enhancement and sharpening.
